With regret, City Council has accepted the resignation of Councilman Michael Wallace.   Over the past 7 1/2 years, Mike has made a huge contribution to the City of Victor.  His experience, calm demeanor and willingness to listen, as well as, his contributions to DREAM/Main Street, Victor Heritage Society and City events have had an extremely positive impact on Victor.  We wish Mike all the best on his next adventure!

Council plans to fill the position by appointment at the February 16th City Council Meeting. Interested citizens must submit a letter of interest to the City Clerk by 4 pm, February 13th and attend the Council Meeting at 6 pm on February 16th where they may address Council directly and answer Council questions.

Eligible candidates must comply with the following statutory requirements:

  • Must have resided in Ward 2 (properties located south of the middle line of Portland Avenue) within the city limits of Victor for at least twelve consecutive months immediately preceding the appointment date of February 16th, 2017.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be a registered voter.
  • The term of this appointed position ends on November 15, 2017. Appointed councilor may run in the upcoming election should they desire.
